Bachelor in Hydrogen Technology (German-taught)

A technology-focused degree programme for sustainability and climate neutrality

Hydrogen technology is a key technology and paving the way to the CO2-neutral age. Hydrogen is already used today as a climate-friendly energy carrier in industry and mobility.
Motivated by the energy transition and the associated shift away from fossil fuels, the relevance of hydrogen (H2) is growing rapidly. Therefore, hydrogen engineers will be urgently needed in the future.

The new Hydrogen Technology degree programme by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering teaches the fundamentals of mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanics, and thermodynamics. Specialised lectures on hydrogen technology grant deep insights into the topics of fuel cells, H2 production, H2 storage and transportation. The practical semester represents the bridge between theory and practice.
